Delivery charges

We know that our customers have busy lives and, waiting in for a delivery can get in the way. That’s why, we hope to make this process as effortless as possible. All Laura James products are delivered through our approved couriers, who will arrange a date and time, best suited to you, to receive your product. 
On each of our products you’ll see a delivery tab, this is where you will find the specific delivery information for that product. Please refer to this to find out your desired product delivery charge and timings.
All UK mainland delivery is charged from £3.99 to £19.99 dependant on size of the item and courier. 
Total delivery cost is capped at 1 delivery fee per order. Please note some couriers have restrictions on where and how they can deliver items, especially larger pieces. If you live in a hard to find location, top floor apartment e.g. with no lift, some couriers will not be able to carry all the way to the door. Please specify any issues which may hinder delivery so we can advise on the best solution before arrival.

When can I expect delivery?

Christmas Deliveries 

To ensure your order arrives in time for Christmas, please check each individual item’s delivery date range before purchasing. Our couriers have the following cut off dates for guaranteed Christmas deliveries:
  • DHL: Tuesday, 19th December
  • DPD (UK): Wednesday, 20th December
  • DPD (France): Sunday, 17th December
  • DPD (Ireland): Friday, 29th December
  • Evri: Tuesday, 19th December
  • BJS: Tuesday, 19th December
  • BJS (Northern Ireland): Monday, 18th December
  • BJS (Ireland): Saturday, 9th December
  • BJS (Highlands): Wednesday, 13th December
Please note: These dates are subject to stock availability and may vary depending on your location. While we aim to deliver within these timeframes, unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions or courier delays may impact delivery.

Standard Sized Items 

Orders will be dispatched within 2 business days, Monday to Friday.  Delivery will then happen 1-3 working days post-dispatch in England, Wales and Scotland. And 3-5 days if to Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands.

Oversized Delivery >

Any products classed as oversized will be delivered on a 2-man delivery service due to the size of the furniture. 
Our courier company will contact you to arrange delivery. We aim for this to be within 3-5 working days, on a day of your choice. The delivery date can also be extended a further 7 days to suit you.

Items with a longer lead time - what to expect.

If you have ordered an item from Laura James that is not yet in stock due to new seasonal availability and/or is a made to order item and/or a product due back in stock, then we ask that you refer to you order confirmation regarding delivery dates. Please note that on occasion we may experience delays beyond this date due to fabric delays and supplier issues which are out of our control. We will of course keep you up to date on all delays, in the unlikely event that they should occur. 

Multiple Orders & Sustainable Delivery

If you have ordered more than one item from Laura James, then we will ship all products to you as soon as the final product is in our warehouse and all checks are complete. We do this to ensure you receive all of your products on the same day/time for your convenience and to also ensure that we are creating less emissions and unnecessary journeys from our warehouse. We aim to be mindful of our sustainability footprint at Laura James and thank you for your understanding with our policy.
