Terrazzo & Concrete Furniture
New for 2025 Laura James introduces our stylish and terrazzo and concrete tables to our new season range. These contemporary pieces are a fantastic way to elevate your home if you fancy updating your space. Available in black and dark grey concrete and white terrazzo, our selection of tables feature various design elements from rounded tables, ribbed drum styles to twists and curves.
The Artisan Process
Each plinth and table are made from high quality concrete with coconut fibre to give stability and are then individually hand pressed into moulds made exclusively for Laura James. Each piece is left to dry for several days before being carefully removed and hand sanded by skilled artisans to create a smooth finish.
The lava black colour is made with a warm tone, which gives the piece a subtle glow in natural light. The terrazzo is a neutral base filled with warm coloured chips in soft amber, paprika and a generous amount of mother-of-pearl. The flecks of mother-of-pearl catch the sunlight beautifully.
Table Styles
The Bianca plinth table is available in neutral terrazzo and black concrete and features a unique twist design, which will stand out in any room or as an outdoor garden accessory.
The large Zaliki curved table offers a 60cm rounded tabletop, making it ideal as a small terrazzo coffee table for the garden or a living space indoors.
In contrast, the Jabari ribbed concrete table is available in black and dark grey and features a handy built-in handle so it’s easy to move around. This sturdy table can also become an additional seat if needed.
Versatile Design
Our terrazzo and concrete furniture is designed to be suitable for both indoors and outdoors. The Zaliki side table with a fluted design is perfect for elevating a living room corner, whilst the arched Karasi’s unique design could make a chic bedside table.
All the tables are suitable outdoor garden furniture, perfect for elevating your outside space. A concrete side table like the rounded Carlotta would make a handy spot to place a drink and a book whilst relaxing in the garden.
The terrazzo designs with flecks of mother-of-pearl will sparkle in the sunlight if placed in the garden. Style the concrete tables with a contemporary garden sofa set like the Akira to complete the space.
If being used outside, we recommend treating annually with a wax based after care product, this helps to fill tiny pores in the concrete allowing water to run away easily and extending the life of the product.
