Decluttering your home and spring cleaning is a fantastic way to completely clear out your space and feel organised. Decluttering is productive and gives you mental clarity, calmness and hopefully motivation to keep your space tidy moving forward. Make a declutter your home checklist and break it down room by room so you don’t find it too overwhelming.
Hallway
Possibly the smallest space or room in the house is the hallway, and it is often neglected. It’s the first place people see when they enter your home, yet it can become busy with piles of shoes and bags. Bedroom

First tip, dedicate some time to do this; it won’t be a quick 20-minute job as you will need to try things on. Start by emptying your wardrobe completely and organise your clothes into keep, repair, sell or donate piles and remember to try pieces on that you are not sure about. Utilise your wardrobe in full, and only store clothing in there and no other things that could be taking up much needed space, such as books or charity bags waiting to be donated. Once you have cleared your wardrobe and cleaned the inside you can start to put things back in an organised way.

Office
If you work from home, then an office area or study can easily build up with various pieces of paperwork or non-work-related items when home life and workspace begin to blur. To think clearly and be productive whilst working you need to create a clutter free zone. Start by clearing out any old paperwork such as shopping receipts or old train tickets that are no longer required and find a home for anything that does not belong to your work zone.
