Our Influencer series continues with Charlotte Tennant or @ashwood_house_ as she is known on Instagram.

Charlotte is 27 and lives in Newcastle. She is a home, interior, and DIY influencer, showcasing her passion for interior design to her 12.2k followers.

As well as Laura James, Charlotte partners with other brands such as William Wood, Desenio, and Swan, all with a relation to home decor and interior design.

Charlotte’s Home Life

Having lived in her Ashwood house for over 4 years, Charlotte has spent time designing each room one by one in her spare time. Out of her spare time, Charlotte is a proud business owner and has worked as a nail technician for over 5 years.

How did Charlotte become an Influencer?

Charlotte set up her Ashwood House Instagram page when she first moved in to her home over 4 years ago to document her home renovation journey. Charlotte says, “I then discovered I had a love for interiors and used my account to showcase my home style and DIY”. This then led on to Charlotte gaining a strong following which allows her to collaborate with brands that she is passionate about.  

 

What does Charlotte love about Laura James?

Charlotte states she discovered Laura James through Instagram and was drawn in by the high end and luxury looking furniture Laura James has to offer. Charlotte loves how our products are such high-quality, at affordable prices.

Charlotte collaborated with us and was gifted 4 of our Dolly Boucle Dining Chairs which she says, “fit perfectly around my dining table”. Charlotte prepared for Christmas dinner with the help of these modern and textured dining chairs and uploaded a video of her styling her dining table with festive table décor which looked stunning!

 

 

Other than the Dolly chairs, Charlotte admires our vast range of garden products and says one of her favorites is the Dakota sofa set. Charlotte is also a very big fan of the willow range and wishes to purchase the Willow Oval dining table and Willow side table soon to upgrade her living/dining room further.

 

 

As we move into warmer weather, Charlotte plans to upgrade her garden furniture so that she and her family are ready to spend time outdoors once the sun finally arrives.

 

Charlotte’s top tips for creating a beautiful home.

Charlotte’s home styling top tips are to "find a style that is personal to you and that you love, and then decorate each room one by one." It is important to do each room at a time as you can then see it from start to finish and the satisfaction from a finished room is best!
